This is Eugin's car key! The top cover broke off... so it now resembles a pig/cat.

Things that went horribly wrong for the mini Merdeka picnic at the park-

1. I left the camera at Li Tat's, so no pictures. Well 'till I freeload them off Cynthia hee.

2. After the fireworks, I drove out to get petrol but ended up using MORE petrol, thanks to the blocked roads and the let's-get-out-of-here traffic jam. I had to detour to Hartamas from Mutiara Damansara- which. Is. Ruddy. Far.

But the fireworks were beautiful.

And thank you alcohol. It's great to see how friends from two different sides can bond... over a steady flow of Bacardi.

Footnote: My engineer and architect friend built a bbq pit from six bricks and a two-by-two wire mesh. But there's now a circle of charred grass in the middle of the park, oopsie.

turtleIt took me HOURS to fix up the layout- but the perfectionist in me is finally satiated :) I think I'm pretty happy with how everything looks... for now.

Life update- Exams are finally over! Now there's nothing but this whole month of empty calender space... yay!!!

August has been pretty uneventful, all I did after my last paper today was to play futsal, which to me... was quite a brutal experience. It was my first time at futsal, and it will prolly also be the last- 'cause I really suck... upfront and back. I can't kick straight, and as for the amount of goals that I let in... HAH. My only glamour moment was when I blocked a solid shot from Albert. The boys weren't playing serious as there were other girls playing too- but I goaded Albert into kicking real hard... by taunting him heheh. To be VERY fair Albert kicked straight at me, so all I needed to do was to stand there and receive the impact on my chest. Everyone clapped after so it's all cool.

But I think I'll just stick to golf.

On an unrelated note, Li Tat stubbed his little toe on a chair leg then re-stubbed it on the edge of his bed... so he now has a hairline fracture on his baby toe. It's all swelled up and he can only hobble now.

But it's really sad. Wayne Rooney fractured his foot from playing footie for England... and all Li Tat can say upon being asked is, "Uh I walked into a chair."
