Kai and I were unintentionally very in sync with each other's expressions that night

I was supposed to be some Greek dunnowhatthingamajig with gold leaves on my head and a white flowy dress, but I chucked the headpiece after it scratched my forehead. It ended up sitting on Kailash's head for the rest of the night while I nicked his devil's horns instead.

     50th







This is Eugin's car key! The top cover broke off... so it now resembles a pig/cat.

Things that went horribly wrong for the mini Merdeka picnic at the park-

1. I left the camera at Li Tat's, so no pictures. Well 'till I freeload them off Cynthia hee.

2. After the fireworks, I drove out to get petrol but ended up using MORE petrol, thanks to the blocked roads and the let's-get-out-of-here traffic jam. I had to detour to Hartamas from Mutiara Damansara- which. Is. Ruddy. Far.

But the fireworks were beautiful.

And thank you alcohol. It's great to see how friends from two different sides can bond... over a steady flow of Bacardi.

Footnote: My engineer and architect friend built a bbq pit from six bricks and a two-by-two wire mesh. But there's now a circle of charred grass in the middle of the park, oopsie.
